For January 2007
Agrippa describes a rather more useful talisman of Jupiter, "They made also another Image of Jupiter for a religious and glorious life, and advancement of fortune; whose figure was a man having the head of a Lyon [lion], or a Ram, and Eagles feet, cloathed in Saffron coloured cloathes, and he was called the son of Jupiter." Three Books of Occult Philosophy, Bk II, ch 39. Since Agrippa does not specify a specific astrological configuration for this image it is appropriate for Jupiter in Sagittarius.
The chart above shows the election at 4:55 am EST, January 5, 2007 in Cleveland Park, a neighborhood of Washington, D.C. Jupiter is very well dignified by sign and triplicity. He is rising. It is the planetary hour and day of Jupiter. The Moon makes an applying trine to Jupiter. In my opinion, this is the best election for Jupiter in Sagittarius for the entire period that Jupiter is in this sign!
