MERCURY TABLE BACK (enlarged) The key feature of these talismans is the front image of the planetary table of Mercury from Agrippa with a very large table of 64 numbers. Like all planetary magic squares these tables add up to the same number when the rows are added vertically, horizontally or diagonally! The front of the table talisman, which you can see to left, has the number 260 corresponding to Tiriel, the Intelligence of Mercury, whose name appears in Hebrew at the bottom and the number 2080, which corresponds to Taphthartharath, the Spirit of Mercury. Turning to the back of the table talismans, the top figure is the seal of Mercury, left is the sigil of the Spirit of Mercury, Taphthartharanth and on the right is the sigil of the Intelligence of Mercury, Tiriel. The Hebrew letters around the edges spell out Proverbs 1:6-7, "The wise and their riddles: the fear of God is the beginning of Wisdom." This quote corresponds numerically to Mercury. All in all the talismans are a wonderful example of the magical power of numbers and symbols, practical exemplars of the harmony and interconnections of all things in the Cosmos.
