Renaissance Astrology is pleased to present authentic green agate Lion Head Mercury talismans for Bravery, Good Will and Health as well as Wealth, Knowledge, Business Success & Eloquence from Picatrix.
T he Renaissance mage Cornelius Agrippa says that Mercury talismans, "render the bearer thereof gratefull, and fortunate to do what he pleaseth: it bringeth gain, and prevents poverty, conduceth to memory, understanding, and divination, and to the understanding of occult things by dreams:" Three Books of Occult Philosophy, Bk II,ch 22.
The famous astrological grimoire Picatrix explains how to create this specific talisman and says to make it with the image of a, "...head of a lion, in the hour of Mercury, Mercury rising in Gemini, and above the head write a “A” and below the head a “D,” whoever has this image will evade infirmities and fear, and good things will be said of them...." Picatrix, Book II, Chapter 10. You can see this image on the front of the talisman above. The front view of the talisman is backlit showing the luminous green of the agate.
Turning to the back of the talismans, the top figure is the seal of Mercury, left is the sigil of the Spirit of Mercury, Taphthartharanth and on the right is the sigil of the Intelligence of Mercury, Tiriel. In the middle is the standard symbol of Mercury. Around the edge are the goals of bravery, good will and health. Note that the view of the back shows the agate looks darker when it is not backlit.
The Mercury talismans were created with the conditions shown on this chart for 6:26 am, May 7, 2021 in Islamabad, Pakistan. These conditions are that Mercury rises, is dignified by sign (+5) and term (+2) for a SUPER +7! It is the planetary hour of Mercury.
