Regiomontanus Houses
In this chart Taurus rises and it is Moon hour.
The Moon rules the earthy triplicity by night, the chart is radical and fit to
be judged.
Taurus rises, the querent is represented by Venus, ruler of Taurus, who is in fall
in the malefic 12th house.
We look to the 10th house to
signify the job/employer. The ruler of the 10th house is
Saturn who is dignified by term and face, in the Ascendant, in fact he is quite
close to being conjunct the Ascendant. Saturn is, however, conjunct the malefic
fixed star Algol.
The querent is also signified by the Moon,
who is in detriment and conjunct the 9th house cusp, indicating the querent's
concern about traveling as the 9th house rules long journeys.
Despite the poor Zodiacal state of the Moon and Venus, the presence of Saturn,
10th ruler dignified, in the 1st, indicates that the querent will
get the job. The famous English astrologer William
Lilly notes that if the Lord of the tenth is in the first that the job is obtained
easily, without much effort on the part of the querent. Christian Astrology
, page 444.
Nevertheless, the weakness of the querent's significators
indicates that the querent, despite getting the job, is still in a weak position.
The job itself may have some problems as indicated by the fact that Saturn is
conjunct Algol.
Result
The querent quickly obtained a new job as Chief Technology
Officer of an Internet startup company. However, the job was not what it was billed
to be and the querent does not expect to stay with it very long.
