These talismans are very unusual because they are exaltation degree talismans. First, the dignity of exaltation itself is particularly associated with power, kingship and rulership. The medieval Italian astrologer Guido Bonatti says that a planet in its exaltation is, "...like a man who is in his own kingdom, and in his own glory like a kingdom, dukedom or podesta..." Liber Astronomiae, Tr II, ch. 40.
The medieval Arabic astrologer Masha'allah says that, "...exaltations are of greater authority in matters of [kingship]; to wit, if something is done by a king, the lord of the exaltation is stronger in signification than the [sign] ruler." Masha'allah, On Reception (Arhat, 1998) at 3.
These are unique talismans that bring the power of exaltation to its maximum because they are made not only when the Jupiter is exalted in Cancer, but at the special exaltation degree. These incredible Jupiter exaltation degree talismans were made according to the medieval astrological text, the Book of the Treasure of Alexander, which says, "[the talisman of the exaltation degree of Jupiter] is for the strengthening of the heart and the alleviation of heart pains, fainting and [lacunae]. He who carries the ring of Jupiter will be popular, well respected and praised. He will be victorious in his disputes and his endeavors will be fruitful." Book of the Treasure of Alexander.
On the front of the talismans is an image of a lion's head from the description for the exaltation degree of the Jupiter from the ancient astrological grimoire the Book of the Treasure of Alexander "the image of a man riding a lion and with a sword in his right hand and a bow in his left hand" which you can see in the meditation and ritual image.
On the back of the talismans in the middle we find the exaltation degree of Jupiter, the 15th Degree of Cancer and the goals, "Great Riches, Success, Wisdom"
In addition to the special powers of Jupiter's exaltation, the Renaissance mage Cornelius Agrippa says that a Jupiter talisman, ""...conduceth to gain, and riches, favor, and love, peace, and concord, and to appease enemies, to confirm honors, dignities, and counsels, and dissolve enchantments..."
